The Ballina Manor Hotel is situated on the banks of the River Moy and is the perfect location for any angler to enjoy salmon fishing in one of Irelands hot spots. Ballina, the “Salmon Capital of Ireland” and the Ridge Pool prove most popular and rewarding. Along with salmon, the river is abundant with sea trout.

Other fishing hots spots in Mayo are Lough Mask, Lough Corrib, Lough Conn, Lough Cullin, Carrowmore Lake and Callow Lakes and Killala Bay.

The season runs from February 1st to September 30th each year.  It is advisable to check in with ghillies and clubs to confirm the local rules.
